The Manaiakalani method of "Learn, Create, Share" is amazing! Today saw the completion of another awesome lesson under the guidance and expertise of Koka Maria. Woohoo!

For someone who is pretty tech savvy, I am learning a whole lot of new stuff, such as how to embed html code into a blog page. I am also learning alternative descriptives for what we university graduates were constantly reminded was called "APA Referencing", i.e. ensuring we acknowledged the source of the information and/or imagery we used within assignments. 

In a blogging context however, my students were encouraged to "attribute" the source of the photos or images they chose to include in their "Ko Wai Ahau" introductory blog drawing today. It was awesome.

I would also like to extend a massive thank you to Koka Maria for welcoming Te Whanau o Te Moananui-a-Kiwa back into the Manaiakalani community this term. Thank you so much.
